Michael J. Carey, MAI, President, who earned his MAI designation in 1994, has 22 years of real estate experience. He formerly managed the Real Estate Valuation/Consulting practice for the Washington, DC regional office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.  Mr. Carey’s real estate experience includes preparing consulting reports, market studies, and appraisals on most property types for a variety of purposes including portfolio valuation, mortgage lending, property tax disputes, bankruptcies, and property acquisition or disposition.  He has vast national experience with regional malls, CBD and suburban office buildings, multifamily properties, vacant land, and mixed-use properties.

Troy D. Sivak, MAI, MRICS, Executive Vice President has over 16 years of valuation experience in individual assets and portfolios of income-producing, commercial and industrial properties. Mr. Sivak managed the valuation of investment-grade portfolios for institutional clients such as Lend Lease Real Estate Investment’s Prime Property Fund.  He also provided valuation services for various mergers and acquisitions and managed the valuation review engagement for the Multi-Employer Property Trust.  

Thomas B. Johnson
has over 22 years of real estate valuation and consulting experience.  He formerly managed the Real Estate Valuation/Consulting practice for the New Jersey office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.  Mr. Johnson is the Director of the NMREG’s Retail Group, which specializes in the valuation of regional malls.

Mark I. Roth, CRE, FRICS has approximately 35 years of real estate experience and was formerly associated with the PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he assisted in the development of the Real Estate Litigation Support practice.  Mr. Roth is regionally recognized in the use of computers and discounted cash flow analysis in real estate and has lectured at the professional and educational meetings.  He was the founding editor of The Quarterly Byte, an Appraisal Institute computer publication.

Scott M. Sincavage
has appraised or consulted on various forms of real estate in approximately 15 states since 1996, including office, retail, industrial, multi-family, subdivisions and vacant land.  Mr. Sincavage has specialized in real estate research and appraisal technology.

James J. Gerard
has completed of various consulting engagements for institutional clients including, audit support, due diligence and transaction support since 1997.

Laura A. Sivak
has completed valuation and consulting assignments in numerous locations and on various property types including office, retail, industrial, multifamily, and hospitality.  

Susan Cheng
has over 10 years of real estate experience and has an extensive background in the valuation of institutional-grade, income-producing property.
